The people in this article is going about it all wrong. Multiple mini interviews are game-able. And also, this letter to the editor:
The notion of choosing medical students for their social skills is unrealistic. First, select brilliant students, and then cultivate their social skills.
Charm won’t save a patient’s life. The approach suggested by Virginia Tech Carilion, the country’s newest medical school, will foster mediocrity.
