Still Adele

I have too much self respect to show how much I really like him.  The road to painful disengagement starts here.  It’s trickier because I have to stay polite and civil and professional even though I just want to stop all contact.

Lollipops! Or Connie Talbot covers Adele

Someone Like You is a fantastic song, especially when Adele sings it.  Connie certainly has the voice for it, but I don’t know if she really understands what it’s about.   When she sings ” Guess she gave you things I didn’t give to you,” I think,  lollipops!

OK that’s not logical.  Forgive me, I’m sleepy.

because there’s nothing quite like the feeling when you’re listening to a song written by someone you don’t know, who you’ve never met, who somehow manages to describe exactly how you felt at a particular moment in your life.

because i’ve had my heart broken too.

One of life’s moments encapsulated in a David Archuleta song:

Why do I keep running from the truth?
All I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized
And I just got to know

Do you ever think when you’re all alone
All that we can be, where this thing can go?
Am I crazy or falling in love?
Is it really just another crush?

I don’t know what you smoke or what countries you’ve been to if you speak any other languages other than your own but I’d like to meet you I don’t know if you drive if you love the ground beneath you I don’t know if you write letters or panic on the phone still I’d like to call you all the same, if you want to, I am game.
